Pricing
€70 for the work. Two options for the oil.
Every motorhome oil change costs €70 for the work itself — the visit, the drain, the filter change, the refill, the service light reset, the walk-round check and the old oil taken away. What changes is where the oil and filter come from. That changes what you pay, and it changes who carries the responsibility if the oil isn’t right for your engine.
Option 1 · Recommended
We supply the oil and filter
€70 for the work
- Oil to your engine’s exact specification — viscosity, ACEA, OEM approval where the manufacturer requires it
- Filter matched to your engine and base vehicle
- Oil and filter at cost — you see the supplier invoice for the parts before we start
- We carry the responsibility for the oil being right for your engine. If the grade is wrong, that’s on us
For most motorhomes the oil and filter add roughly the same again on top of the €70 — it varies by sump size and engine. We confirm the exact parts price when you message.
Option 2
You supply the oil and filter
€70 for the work
- You bring the oil and filter
- We fit them with the same care, same visit, same invoice
- You pay only for the work — no charge for the parts
Your responsibility. If you supply the oil, the responsibility for it being the correct grade for your engine sits with you. On a DPF-equipped diesel, the wrong oil leaves ash deposits that cannot be burned off, and a replacement DPF runs from €400 to €2,500 depending on the model. If the oil you bring isn’t right for your engine, that cost is not on us.
If you’re not sure what your engine needs, send us a photo of the oil bottle and the filter box before the visit and we’ll tell you yes or no, free of charge.
Call-out. On top of the €70 there’s a call-out fee that depends on where you are — campsite, storage yard, driveway, inland or on the coast. We confirm the call-out when you message, before you commit to anything. Nothing is added after the visit.
Why the grade matters — especially on modern diesels
Most oil is oil. It lubricates, it circulates, it does the job. But there’s one place where the wrong oil causes serious damage, and it’s not the engine itself — it’s the DPF.
Diesel particulate filters are sensitive to ash. Engine oils that aren’t low-SAPS — low in sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur — leave ash deposits in the DPF that never burn off. Unlike soot, ash can’t be regenerated. It accumulates, it clogs the filter, and eventually the filter needs to come off and be cleaned or replaced. On a motorhome that’s a €400–€2,500 bill depending on the model.
Every motorhome oil change we do with our own oil uses the correct low-SAPS grade where the manufacturer specifies it. If your engine needs C2 or C3, that’s what goes in. If it needs a specific OEM approval, we check before ordering. This isn’t a sales pitch — it’s the difference between the two options above.
Take our oil and this is our problem, not yours. Take your own and it’s your call, your responsibility — and that’s why we put it in writing above. More on DPF and low-SAPS oil →
What’s included
What happens during the visit
A proper oil change isn’t just drain and refill. Here’s the checklist we run through on every motorhome, every time.
Oil to specification
Oil to your engine’s exact specification — viscosity, ACEA approval, OEM approval where required. We confirm the grade before ordering, not after.
New oil filter
New filter every time. Some quick-fit places reuse filters on low-mileage changes — we don’t. If the filter comes off, a new one goes on.
Sump plug and washer
New sump plug washer every time. If the sump plug itself is damaged — stripped threads, wrong plug fitted by someone else — we tell you before starting and quote for replacement.
Levels and walk-round
Coolant, brake fluid, screen wash, power steering — all checked while we’re there. Tyres, belts and visible leaks too. Anything marginal, we flag it, you decide.
Service light reset
Reset via the onboard menu, or via diagnostic scanner on the base vehicle if the model requires it. Included in the €70.
Service record
If you keep a physical service book, we stamp it. If the base vehicle logs services electronically, we record the date and mileage on the invoice.
Old oil taken away
Drained into a sealed container, removed from your pitch, handed to an authorised disposal point. No charge — it’s included in the €70.
Invoice — factura
Labour €70, parts at cost with the supplier invoice attached, oil disposal noted. All on one document, useful for records, insurance and resale.
Old oil disposal
We take the old oil away — and it’s not a formality
In Spain, used engine oil is a regulated waste. It has to be collected, transported and handed to an authorised disposal point — you can’t pour it down a drain, leave it at the kerb, or drop it at the campsite waste point.
Campsites and urbanisations take this seriously for good reason. If oil ends up in the ground or the drainage system, the fines fall on whoever put it there — on a campsite that means the site owner, not the guest. That’s why many sites ask guests not to do oil changes on the pitch.
What we do: the used oil is drained into a sealed container, removed from your pitch or driveway, and taken to an authorised collection point. You never see the container after we’ve finished. If the site wants confirmation, we note on the invoice that the oil was removed and disposed of legally.
This is why most campsites don’t mind us doing the work on the pitch — we remove the oil, we don’t leave it. If you’re on a site with a policy against oil changes, tell us when you message and we’ll sort it with the admin.
How it works
Book, confirm the parts, done
Two messages on WhatsApp and the job is scheduled. No quotes to wait for, no callback rounds, no slot two weeks out.
Message us
Make, model, base vehicle and where the motorhome is parked. Tell us which option you want — our oil, or yours.
We confirm parts and call-out
If we’re supplying: the exact grade for your engine, the filter, and the parts price. If you’re supplying: a quick check that what you have is right. Either way, the call-out for your location.
We come out
Campsite pitch, storage yard, driveway. Takes about an hour, a little more if the sump is large. You don’t have to stay for the whole visit.
You get the invoice
€70 for the work, parts at cost with supplier invoice attached (if we supplied), old oil removed and disposed of legally. All on one document.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
The ones we get every time someone books an oil change on a motorhome.
Is €70 the total price, or is there more to pay?
€70 is the price of the work itself — the visit, the drain, the filter change, the refill, the service light reset, the walk-round check and taking the old oil away. On top of that there are two things, and we confirm both before you commit:
1. Call-out. Depends on where you are — campsite on the coast, storage yard, inland. Confirmed by message.
2. Oil and filter. If we supply them, you pay what we paid — you see the supplier invoice. If you supply them yourself, this line is zero and you only pay the €70 plus call-out.
Can I supply my own oil and filter?
Yes, and plenty of motorhome owners do — especially if you know your base vehicle well or you’ve bought the parts on offer. Bring the correct grade for your engine and a filter that matches, and we’ll fit them. Same visit, same care, same invoice. Price is €70 for the work plus the call-out, and no charge for the parts. If you’re not sure whether what you’ve got is right, send us a photo of the bottle and the filter box before the visit and we’ll tell you yes or no, free of charge.
What if the oil I supply isn’t right for my engine?
Then that’s your responsibility, and we say so clearly when you choose that option. On a DPF-equipped diesel, the wrong oil leaves ash deposits that can’t be burned off — the DPF clogs, and a replacement runs €400 to €2,500 depending on the model. If the oil you supplied was wrong for your engine, that cost is not on us. We’ll happily check what you’ve got before the visit if you send photos — no charge for looking. We’d rather you bring the right thing than find out two years down the line.
Why two options?
Because some motorhome owners want the certainty of us sourcing the exact spec for their engine, and others already know exactly what they want and would rather bring it. Both are fine. What isn’t fine is quietly fitting the wrong oil and hoping nobody notices — so we split the options clearly, and the responsibility sits with whoever supplies the oil.
Do you do this at campsites?
Yes, as long as the site allows it. Most do, because we remove the old oil and dispose of it legally — that’s the part campsites worry about. If your site has rules about oil changes on the pitch, tell us when you message and we’ll sort it with the admin.
What motorhome bases do you work on?
The usual motorhome platforms: Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer, Citroën Relay / Jumper, Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter and Iveco Daily — plus Renault Master on the smaller coachbuilts and camper conversions. If yours is something else, message us with the make and model and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can help.
